Off the Shelf- To Fetch a Scoundrel (Mutt Mysteries Book 2)

Happy Wednesday!

I was fortunate enough to be asked to review To Fetch a Scoundrel: Four Fun "Tails" of Scandal and Murder, and I must say it did not disappoint. :) This book is a collection of four novellas that feature sleuths and their beloved canines working together to solve a crime.  The featured titles are:

The Fast and the Furriest by Heather Weidner
This fast read (pun intended) centers around a racing track. When one of the track's most popular drivers, local celebrity Donnie Ellis, is found murdered in the garage, Cassidy and her Rottweiler Oliver must seek out the murderer and save the track's reputation.

Pawsitively Scandalous by Jayne Ormerod
Party planner Pilar Pruitt's quiet neighborhood is shaken up when the Yappy Hour group witnesses one of their neighbors being removed from his home in handcuffs, setting the tightknit community abuzz. When Tilda, a retired schoolteacher is found murdered in her home, Pilar and her canine companion, Natti, must do a little digging to stop the killer, while unburying a few mind-blowing scandals along the way.

Ruff Goodbye by Rosemary Shomaker
While bar owner Len Hayes attends the funeral of a dear friend, a fight breaks out. Once the body of Perry, a rather unpleasant business partner, is discovered, the trick is narrowing down the seemingly unending list of suspects. In a town where everyone is hiding something, Len must find out who is concealing a murder.

A Doggone Scandal by Teresa Inge
When Catt receives a package with a mysterious note, she and her sister Em set out to discover the note's origins. When their investigation lands them in the middle of a murder investigation, Catt and Em must fight to solve the murder and prove their innocence.

I loved this book so much, I've already purchased the first in the series: To Fetch a Thief. This collection of stories was a fun book from start to finish, particularly for those of us who love our fur babies! :)
