Off the Shelf: Fall; or, Dodge in Hell by Neal Stephenson

Good Afternoon and Happy Friday!

Hope everyone is having a fabulous week so far. I haven't done an Off the Shelf post in a while, but after reading this book, I just had to share. Last year, I read The Rise and Fall of D.O.D.O. by Neal Stephenson and Nicole Galland and I have been meaning to read more books by them because that book was amazing

While I was browsing the local library, I was thrilled to find a new Neal Stephenson book on the shelf. As much as I loved D.O.D.O., I think I was even more addicted to this book! It centers around Richard "Dodge" Forthrast, a wealthy video game producer who seeks immortality by technological means. Upon his death, his brain is scanned into the cloud, then later he is reanimated...

This book is a roller coaster ride of sci-fi blended with fantasy, science blended with religion. At almost 900 pages, this book was no lightweight, but I sped my way through it in four days. I've never read anything like it!

P.S. If you know of another book like it, please leave the name in the comment section, cause I definitely want to check it out!

I have included the Amazon link so you can get your copy here
